Isha Macleod is a self-employed, Independent Cambridge Weight Plan Consultant, who set up her business over a year ago, and has never looked back.

In discussing what had brought Isha to venture into the world of the Cambridge Weight Plan, we covered health issues she has struggled with, such as Fibromyalgia, M.E. (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis) and all the associated problems these have brought into her life.

Isha felt it important that she explain this, particularly for the sake of those who may be unwell in some way and considering the plan.  Isha feels that undertaking the weight plan and losing weight, have helped her health problems.

Isha has had a long journey on the path of ill-health, having been unwell for 18 years.  Various relapses of her condition meant a lot of time spent house and bed-bound, and over that period she had gained nearly five stone.  She explains that before then she had never struggled with any type of weight problem.  She had always been able to manage of her own weight as well as having enjoyed exercise.

At this point in the midst of her unhappiness with her weight gain, she had resolved to do something about it.  It was then that she had come across an advert in the paper.  After overcoming initial feelings of “I don’t need to go on any plan”, thinking she could handle it herself, and proving unsuccessful therein, she finally gave in.

Isha then called the advertised consultant, explaining her situation and health problems, which had made weight loss even more difficult.  Within six months she had lost three and a half stone.
Once she had reached her target weight, her consultant then looked into the prospect of Isha becoming a consultant.  This appealed to her, in that it enabled her to work from home, as well as further intensifying, and building upon her keen interest in helping other people lose weight.

She wanted to help people who were struggling, as she had convinced herself for a time that she would never lose the weight.

Before she knew it she was filling in forms, closely followed by her undertaking the Cambridge training course in Edinburgh.  The course was followed by the requisite completion of five modules including Health, Business, Medical and Cambridge.  Within the first few months Isha had gained 18 clients.

Isha works from home in a specially adapted consultation room, which has a very relaxed and cosy, yet professional atmosphere, with her array of Cambridge products displayed, scales and charts.  Many of her clients also appreciate the privacy this homely setting enables them.

Isha particularly enjoys the support provision aspect of being a consultant.  She feels she can really relate to, and confidently advise clients having been through the process herself and takes a great sense of pride in seeing her clients reach their target weight.

After a couple of phone calls or text messages to attain some general information about clients, the initial consultation should usually take around an hour.  This appointment allows clients to ask questions and voice any worries they may have.  The cost of the plan can range from £14 to £65 per week, with an array of products and steps available to suit the client.  The step may include combinations such as a no-food plan, where the clients diet consists solely of Cambridge products.  Other variations could include a diet of both products and food.  The plan works up in steps towards the goal of the stabilisation level, and maintenance of your weight.  Calorie consumption is incrementally increased as you progress.

The entire process can educate you, enabling you to recognise and thus avoid, potential triggers for your over-eating and unhelpful unhealthy eating habits.  Overall the plan can transform the way you look at food altogether.  The plan is not a fad-diet, but more a potentially sustainable change aimed at ensuring a healthier and happier future.

Isha feels that where the Cambridge weight plan differs from any other is that you have the continual support of your consultant in your personal weekly appointment, as well as being able contact your consultant at any time for advice.

Isha and her clients have had great success, with clients having lost anything from a stone up to six stone; as well as clients who are now at the stage of maintaining their weight with healthy eating and exercise.

Isha also suggests that the Cambridge weight plan study of the "Droplet Trial" Doctor Referral of Overweight people to low Energy Diet replacement treatment would be worth a read.  This study reinforces the fact that the plan is medically approved / recommended.

If you are interested in the plan, please get in touch with Isha regarding appointments/times etc.
